Paul Stephen Nelson, aged 80, passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2024, in New Britain. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl S. Nelson and Marion (Towle) Nelson. Paul, a Bristol Eastern High School graduate, served in the Navy and worked at Pratt and Whitney, IBM, and Kodak. He also drove trucks for EPPCO and Story Brothers. He is survived by his wife Carol, son Dan and wife Danielle, daughter Denise and husband Gregory, and brother David and wife Delza. A gathering for family and friends will be held at Plainville Funeral Home on December 19 and 20, with a celebration of life service at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and burial at Forestville Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Ray of Light Farm.
