Starting as a shoeshine boy, he became a renowned chef and educator, serving as Executive Chef at several prestigious clubs and advising the U.S. Olympic Culinary team. He was inducted into the American Academy of Chef’s Hall of Fame and was active in several associations, including the CT Chef’s Association and the Son’s of Italy. Known affectionately as 'Cheffie,' he was beloved for his warmth and generosity, leaving behind his wife of 57 years, Patricia, his daughter Alicia, and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Joseph and sister Judy. His funeral service will be held on December 21, 2024, at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish in Rocky Hill, CT.
